Delete your BGKeeper account
In the app — immediate
- Open BGKeeper and go to the Account tab.
- Open Support and tap Delete account.
- Confirm it is you — pick your Google account, or enter your password.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Your account and its data are deleted right away, and you are signed out.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email jloncar@jhunt.hr from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my BGKeeper account. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
- Your account, email address, username and profile picture
- Your game collection and wishlist
- Every play session you logged, including scores, notes and the player names you typed
- Your groups, achievements and privacy settings
- Your friends list, and your entry in each of your friends' lists
- Friend requests you sent or received
- Everything BGKeeper stored on your phone, including your linked BoardGameGeek credentials
This cannot be undone.
What may remain
- Notifications you already sent. A friend request you sent before deleting may still show in the recipient's notification history as text.
- Other people's records. If someone else logged a game you played in, their record keeps the name they typed. That record is theirs, not your account's.
- Analytics and crash reports, which are held by Google Firebase for its standard retention period and are not linked to your identity.
- Your BoardGameGeek account and plays synced to it, which belong to BoardGameGeek. Delete those on boardgamegeek.com.
- A "Remove ads" purchase, which belongs to your Google Play account rather than your BGKeeper account. It stays yours, and applies again if you install BGKeeper on a phone signed in to the same Google account.
